Eliza is a Geurie local and owner of Whiteley Optometry. She holds a Master of Optometry, Ocular Therapeutic Endorsement graduating from Deakin University and an Advanced Certificate in Children’s Vision.

Eliza has worked closely with local ophthalmologist Dr Liu and has a particular interest in preventative eye health and managing chronic eye conditions.

In 2024, she established Whiteley Optometry with a focus on providing personalised, community-centred care to Dubbo and the surrounding region.

She is also committed to supporting future regional healthcare professionals and regularly presents to optometry students at Deakin University and medical students at the University of Sydney’s School of Rural Health.

Outside of clinical practice, Eliza enjoys helping on her family farm and is actively involved in local hockey and touch football.
